Books my kids and I enjoyed reading:

These stories are so cleverly written and I was surprisingly excited at how well they kept my interest. In fact, there were many late nights where I just couldn't stop reading because I had to find out what happened.
Louis Sacher
Lemony Snicket
Anne of Green Gables Lucy M. Montgomery
Harry Potter (1-7) Loved the Ending!!!!
J. K. Rowling
The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe C.S. Lewis
Peter and the Starcatchers Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson
The Magician's Nephew C.S.Lewis

Some of my favorites:

The Volumes by "Anne" a lay apostle What a wonderful series of writings! There are other books by "Anne" also worth reading but these Volumes are a great place to start. You can preview the "Heaven Speaks" booklets here!
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho A simple, easily read, inspiring story.
Blink by Malcolm Gladwell A well written book that sites examples and proven research to show why it is important to follow your instincts and always trust your first impression.

by Theresa Whitehurst

This is an incredible book for reflecting on and understanding our roles as parents. I highly recommend it to parents and grandparents alike. Outstanding!

The Curé of Ars (MY FAVORITE!)

by St. John Vianney

St. John Vianney wrote in the simplest of terms about the most complicated of topics. Although some areas of this book are specifically written to encourage Catholics in practicing their faith, the majority of the book is a simple yet powerful way to live our lives in the service of God and others - to live as holy people. I highly recommend this book!

Every one feels love a different way. This book explores the 5 ways people feel loved and accepted in relationships. Extremely interesting and insightful - a MUST read!

Saint Sister Faustina:Her Life & Mission

by Maria Tarnawsks

Explores the origination of God's Divine mercy for all His children and the immeasurable graces He has for those who love Him.

The Purpose Driven Life

by Rick Warren

Easy to read and a very inspiring book. There is so much more to life than what most people think is important. Learn to live the life you were meant to live!
